About Vigorish Viper.
Vigorish Viper is the name Infoblox gave (22 July 2024) to a Chinese organised-crime technology suite and cybercrime supply chain behind illegal online sports gambling: software, DNS CNAME-based traffic distribution systems, website templates and hosting, custom cryptography, mobile apps, secure chat and payment processing, spread across more than 170,000 domain names and tens of gambling brands. Infoblox is highly confident the suite was developed by the Yabo Group (Yabo Sports), the company behind European football-club sponsorships used to advertise unregulated gambling in Asia and linked to forced-labour scam compounds in Cambodia and 'pig butchering' fraud. After Yabo was dissolved in 2022 its operations were laundered into ostensibly independent successor entities, Kaiyun Sports, KM Gaming, Ponymuah and SKG, which together keep the Vigorish Viper supply chain running. Victims are primarily residents of Greater China (mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau).
