Quake3 is a Russian-speaking threat actor and long-time underground forum member, active since at least September 1, 2010. He is well-reputed in cybercriminal circles for his expertise in malware development, particularly crypters. Quake3 is also a moderator on XSS.is and Exploit.in, playing a key role in forum administration and dispute resolution, including acting as an escrow service for cybercriminal transactions. He has a history of deleting past posts, possibly to cover his tracks or maintain operational security.
